Railway Board and Administrative Preparations
Ahead of the launch, Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar visited Gorakhpur to supervise the operational readiness of the Vande Bharat Express. He also boarded an inspection vehicle to conduct a window trailing from Gorakhpur to Siwan, ensuring all technical and safety parameters are in place.
Meanwhile, UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh visited the expressway inauguration site to oversee the final preparations, security arrangements, and protocol coordination for the CM’s visit.
PM Modi’s aircraft is scheduled to land at Kushinagar International Airport this morning. From there, he will travel to Siwan by helicopter to officially launch the high-speed train service.
